OUR PAST AND WHAT WE LOOK FOR IN OUR FUTURE:

2003, retired E7 Green Beret David Baldridge and his wife Renee had a vision for a security company where veterans and first responders could find additional work serving their community in a setting where they could be treated like family; not micromanaged, overworked, or underappreciated.

While serving in Vietnam and Korea, David witnessed the horrors of war and the toll that serving this country can take both physically (taking a grenade for his brothers in combat), and mentally (returning home in a different time, full of citizens who didn't respect Veterans or simply didn't understand their calling).

David and Renee decided to form a company that would bring together Veterans and First Responders who shared those common beliefs and understood that we are blessed to be in the greatest nation on Earth and have the will and dedication to keep our citizens safe.  WarEagle Security Services was born with the name taking their Cherokee heritage and printing it proudly on their badge and patches. Their long-term vision included setting up a training facility with fitness, counseling, and a non-profit that would eventually blend Patriotic values with community needs.

2010, their daughter, Brittany Baldridge, took the reins and streamlined her parents' company into a modern, exclusive service where only the highest trained applicants would be selected for contracts ranging from small business offices to multimillion dollar state contracts. While running the company she joined the military, sharing the same creed and commitment as her Father and the hundreds of Veterans employed by her Family's company throughout the years.

During this time, Specialist Baldridge, earning her reputation in the Army as a born leader and team strategist, turned her company into a singular focus: to be the highest caliber and most reliable Armed Security Company in Bexar County. 

Her company requires a minimum of 5 Years of Armed Security experience and active licensing.  If an applicant does not have their Level III Commissioned License, they MUST have experience as a Veteran or First Responder and provide references that attest to their character and demeanor.

With the experience comes a guarantee.  Policies, Procedures, and Training ensure our Officers are on time, diligent, and courteous.  We do not work bars or clubs and thus have no need for "bouncers."  We look for the most professional and highest caliber Officers to work quality sites and build their schedule around Client needs and their Family's needs, equally.

2023: A new look for a new decade of service

This year we celebrated over 2 decades of dedication by the Baldridge Family to the city of San Antonio.  With this celebration comes new uniforms for our Officers with our new Logo.

The LOGO:
Hand sketched by Operations Manager and former LEO Brian Rokosz, and brought to life by Veteran small business artists, the new WarEagle design emphasizes that we are the only 100% Female Veteran Owned security firm, with a banner just below the sweeping wings of a beautifully powerful eagle.  The shield is the Baldridge Family Crest, with 12 stars representing the previous 12 years of Female Veteran Ownership and 3 arrows closing out the bottom of the crest representing her and her parents while tying into the Cherokee heritage of her father's Native American name "WarEagle" and presenting the flags of the United States and Texas.

2024 In January of 2024 Gunner 380 Inc DBA WarEagle Security Services became WarEagle Security Services LLC.  While promoting Armed Security Guards the company moved to a new business model with Professional Risk Assessments, Threat Mitigation, Emergency Action Plan development, Background Checks, Notary, Expert Witness, and Executive Protection, each in separate "Divisions" handled by Ms. Baldridge and Operations Manager Brian Rokosz to ensure no single division would be left out or undermanaged.

We have worked with construction crews and blueprint teams to assist in the design of schools, managed the security and events for churches, reviewed court documents for Grand Jury hearings, conducted over 500 background checks, and speak in front of students and faculty regarding Active Shooter and Violence in the Workplace seminars. 

With this new business model came a need to overhaul Texas' Security Training...with new laws and new "interpretation" from Regulatory Services, "security" work in Texas is now as easy as watching a powerpoint presentation.  Skills like report writing, handcuffing, and even OC are able to be "watched" and certified with absolutely zero hands on experience. Unarmed Security jobs can hire with no training, no background check from the employer, and no drug testing.  Armed Security only recently required a psychological test but no employer background, drug test, or in person training.  Firearm qualifications can be done within 10 minutes, require no holster, no safety checks, no scenario based learning, and no verbal communication training.

This was not what a Green Beret formed, Veteran owned, and Law Enforcement trained professional security firm considers "acceptable." Because of this, WarEagle Training Academy LLC was formed summer 2024 during the changes to Texas Security code 17.02.  Mr. Rokosz teaches Texas Level II, III, and IV Private Security, in-person only. WarEagle Security employees must pass over 100 hours of training, up from the State required 40-45, three proficiency quals, verbal communication and scenario-based armed training, in addition to their background check, drug testing, proof of prior job performance, references, psych eval, and 90 day probation.

We also serve the community through our Citizen's Academy coursework for License to Carry and several NRA Certified courses for firearms safety and home defense. We have 4 Range Safety Officers, a Tac Medic, former Green Beret, and our prior Law Enforcement instructor available for any classes and training needs.

While we maintain a steady flow of Armed Security work throughout Military City our business is vastly different than the others. We hire specific to site, specific to contract, without movement or relocation.  Simply put, we do not have 150 guards, treated as numbers, driving all over the map, with mediocre training, minimal oversight, late, sloppy, lazy, distracted, and poorly managed.  We have a select few, staffed at Client locations based on contract needs, building rapport, earning trust, and developing community relationships with the highest levels of training, impeccable service records and previous experience; with the professionalism to be welcoming while remaining vigilant.
